You've seen what we do.
Here's what comes next.
If you've joined us for a second Wednesday, you already have a good sense of who we are. This page walks through what membership actually means — what we ask of you, what it costs, and what you'll be part of — before you fill out the application.
What We Ask of You
Rotary membership is more than showing up on Wednesdays — it's an active commitment to your community. Here's what that looks like in practice.
-
Weekly Meetings — 50% Minimum
Rotary International requires members to attend at least half of all club meetings. We meet every Wednesday at noon at Newnan Country Club. If you miss a week, you can "make up" by attending another club's meeting, joining a board meeting, or participating in a service project.
-
Committee & Project Involvement
Members are expected to participate in at least one committee and take part in local service projects throughout the year. This is where the real work — and the real relationships — happen.
-
The 4-Way Test
Every Rotarian is expected to live by the 4-Way Test in how they conduct themselves professionally and personally. It's not a slogan — it's the standard we hold ourselves to.
-
Dues, Paid on Time
Dues are billed quarterly and can be paid by check or credit card. Monthly billing by credit card is also available (see the Dues section below).
Dues & Fees
Membership dues cover your weekly meals, Rotary International membership, District 6900 dues, the monthly Rotarian magazine, and a quarterly contribution to the Rotary Foundation. There's also a one-time initiation fee when you join.

Our Guiding Standard
The 4-Way Test
Created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor and translated into more than 100 languages, the 4-Way Test is how we check ourselves in everything we say, think, and do.
First
Is it the TRUTH?
Second
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Third
Will it build GOODWILL and better friendships?
Fourth
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
